Applicants submitting SAT orACT test scores will submit a certified copy of the test report.i. Meet any additional eligibility criteria as may beprescribed on the convening MARADMIN message.j. SMCR warrant officer applicants must indicate thebillets they are applying for in their application. CMC (RAP)will identify vacant SMCR warrant officer billets in theconvening MARADMIN for the Enlisted to Warrant Officer (Reserve)Selection Board. Applicants should be aware that they will berequired to affiliate with the unit to which selected prior toappointment to warrant officer. Selectees not affiliating withthe identified SMCR unit will not be appointed to warrantofficer. Therefore, SMCR warrant officer applications mustinclude the following statement:"I understand that selection to the grade of warrantofficer requires that I affiliate with the designated unit for aperiod of 3 years. If I fail to affiliate with the designatedunit prior to the appointment date, I understand that I will notbe appointed.”k. AR Marines may apply for SMCR MOS vacancies as well asAR MOS vacancies; however, an AR Marine who is selected for anSMCR MOS vacancy and accepts appointment in that MOS, will notbe retained on active duty in the AR program. Further, theywill be subject to the requirement to apply for an SMCR billetdescribed in the above paragraph. AR warrant officerapplications that include a request for consideration in an SMCRMOS requirement must include the following statement in additionto the other application requirements:"I understand that if I am selected for and acceptappointment in one of the SMCR MOS requirements for which I haveapplied, I will be released from active duty in the AR programno later than the day before the date in which I acceptappointment to warrant officer. I further understand selectionto the grade of warrant officer requires that I affiliate withthe designated unit for a period of 3 years. If I fail toaffiliate with the designated unit prior to the appointmentdate, I understand that I will not be appointed.”3Enclosure (2)
