HB Statement (obsolete)The HB statement identifies a run of coaxial cable (bus) used in a local HYPERchannel-10 network. Hardwareconnected to the cable is identified in subsequent HOST and LINK statements. All NB statements in aHYPERchannel local network must immediately follow the LOCALNET statement and precede all HOSTand LINK statements that define the usage of the bus. The range of an HB statement is a single local network.An NB defined in one LOCALNET may not be referenced in another.Each bus is given a label so that NETEX software can determine the paths used to communicate with anyother adapter on the network. Note that the label is required,The HB statement has the following format.Name Statement ParameterslabelHBThe following control words are used in the HOST statement.labelHBThis required label specifies the logical name of the network. The label may be any name desired bythe user which is from one to eight alphanumeric characters long.
