Step 4. Load the PAM Using the NCT LoaderThe PAMFILE created in the proceeding step by the Configuration Manager must be made available to theDX NETEX Co-Processor or the NESiGate adapter. The NCT Loader is used to accomplish this function.To execute the loader enter:@XQT N2x.NCTLThen, following the prompts, enter the following command.NCTL> LOAD pamfile hostnameWhere:pamfileThis is the name of the PAMFILE created when the MAKEPAM command was executed.hostnameThis is the name of the host, where the PAMFILE is located.For more information on loading the PAMFILE, see NCT Loader Software Reference Manual. For informationon error messages, see PDNT3/NDNT3 DX NETEX Co-Processor Customer Software Reference ManualNote: The “write-enable” micro-switch on the DX NETEX co-processor board must be selected when doingthe load operation, or the new NCT cannot be saved across a master-clear. If write-enable is not selected,NCTL will return an error 18 message.Step 5. Verify InstallationTo verify proper installation and configuration of the network and local host interface, run the supplied programNTXCONN. This program will do a simple connect to any specified host and report the result.@XQT N2X.NTXCONNThe program will prompt for host and process name. The process name can be a dummy for the test.Step 6. Re-MAP current H300 Applications (optional)If you have local or Network Executive Software applications that run with host NETEX (H300) they must bere-mapped if they are to run with H307IP.
