RATEThis required parameter specifies the protocol level of NETEX that will be used between the twohosts specified in this route. All release 1.x NETEX products use only type 1 protocol. All release2.x NETEX products use either type 1 or type 2 protocol. All release 3.x NETEX products use onlytype 2 protocol. The following protocol-type codes are used with the PROT operand.1 = use type 1 protocol only2 = use type 2 protocol only (default)Check the release levels of the NETEX products used in your configuration. If any release 1.xNETEX is used, use PROT=1 for all routes to or from the release 1.x NETEX host. If any release 3.xNETEX is used, use PROT=2. If both type 1 and type 2 protocols are used, both PROT=1 andPROT=2 are explicitly used in the same HOST statement.This optional parameter specifies the limit on transmission rates to this host. The rate is expressed asa decimal number followed by K (kilobits per seconds).OPTIONSThis optional parameter specifies options that apply to the host.
