Exec status is the operating system status returned in word 3 or 4 of an I/O request packet (depending on theinterface).Sub-status is the operating system sub-status returned farther down in an I/O request packet (depending onthe interface).Adapter Type is the type of adapter and interface being used to service this connection. For the IOFEP (SINCH)interface, these words are not available. For other interfaces the Processor and Storage manual for the processortype should be consulted for the number of channel status words and their formats. The request to obtaindriver statistics is communicated to NETEX by the DSTATUS macro call.Operation ParametersDSTATUS[W] nrb [err-return]DSTATUSWIf specified, control will not return to the caller until the request is completed. Otherwise, return willbe madenrbThis required parameter is the address of the updated NETEX request block (NRB) to be used withthe procedure.
