ADDITIONAL NOTESThe Admissions Policy Criteria will be applied on an Equal Preference basis.Catholic Children are Children who have been baptised as Catholics or have been formallyreceived in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Catholic Church. All applicants seeking admission under <strong>the</strong>se criteria will beasked <strong>to</strong> provide evidence that <strong>the</strong> child has been baptised as a Catholic or has been receivedin<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Catholic Church.If applicants are seeking admission under any <strong>of</strong> criteria 10-17 above, <strong>the</strong>y will be asked for aletter <strong>of</strong> support from <strong>the</strong>ir minister or Faith leader, or suitable equivalent. For Christianapplicants a baptismal certificate must be provided.Special Medical or Social Needs12. Children who have a statement <strong>of</strong> Special Educational Need which names our schoolwill be admitted <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> school. Children <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r Christian denominations who have abro<strong>the</strong>r attending <strong>the</strong> school at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong> admission.13. Children <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r Christian denominations who do not have a bro<strong>the</strong>r attending <strong>the</strong>school at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong> admission.14. Children <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r Faith traditions who attend a Catholic Primary Partner School and whohave a bro<strong>the</strong>r attending <strong>the</strong> school at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong> admission.15. Children <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r Faith traditions who attend a Catholic Primary Partner School who donot have a bro<strong>the</strong>r attending <strong>the</strong> school at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong> admission.16. Children <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r Faith traditions who have a bro<strong>the</strong>r attending <strong>the</strong> school at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong>admission.17. Children <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r Faith traditions who do not have a bro<strong>the</strong>r attending <strong>the</strong> school at <strong>the</strong>time <strong>of</strong> admission.18. Children who have a bro<strong>the</strong>r attending <strong>the</strong> school at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong> admission.19. Children who have attended a Catholic Primary Partner School for as long as <strong>the</strong>y havelived at <strong>the</strong>ir current home address20. O<strong>the</strong>r children.We will consider individual applications involving medical or social needs. This kind <strong>of</strong>application must be supported in writing by relevant pr<strong>of</strong>essional agencies i.e. a doc<strong>to</strong>r or socialworker. This supporting evidence should set out <strong>the</strong> particular reasons why <strong>the</strong> school is mostsuitable and <strong>the</strong> difficulties that would be caused if <strong>the</strong> child had <strong>to</strong> attend ano<strong>the</strong>r school.If your child has Special Educational Needs but does not have a "statement" <strong>of</strong> need <strong>the</strong>n yourapplication will be considered on <strong>the</strong> basis <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> school's admission policy.139
