Until the preference forms arereceived, we cannot tell which schools will have more applications than places available.Each year the majority of children are admitted to their parents’ preferred school, but despiteour firm commitment to meet parental preferences, there is a limit to the number of childrenwho can be admitted to a school. Please also consider the impact of your childjoining school when other pupils have already attended that school, made friends and been partof the school community since the usual age of transfer.
