Use the T-handle Allen wrench to tighten thebolt from under the lower A-arm. Tightenonly until the urethane bushing begins tocrush.After finishing the antiroll bar installation, runthe suspension through its travel full shockextension to full shock compression. Do thiswith the spindle turned full left, full right, andcentered. Everything should move withoutbinding. Because the antiroll bar makesindependent installation difficult, you willhave to do the driver and passenger sides atthe same time.Installing Shocks & SpringsThe front suspension kit includes theVariShock Quickset 1 externally adjustablecoilover shocks with urethane bushings.The knob on the bottom is used to changethe ride quality and handling of the vehicle.Optionally available is a VariShock Quickset2 double adjustable coilover.#917701 Page 39
Screw the spring seat adjuster onto theshock. The set screw locking ball allows thespring seat height to be adjusted in ½ turnincrements and then locked once thedesired spring height is set.This upper spring seat holds the spring inplace at the top of the shock. The slotallows the spring seat to be inserted afterthe spring is in place.Slide the rubber bumper down the shockshaft before installing the spring.After dropping the spring over the shock,slide the upper spring seat over the shaft.#917701 Page 40
