Only slide the frame forward enough todisconnect the rag joint. The front framehorn to the front-end sheet metal’s lowervalance. Clearance is minimal; do notbend the lower valance with the framehorn.Lower the frame until the rag joint is belowthe steering column and then push theframe rearward about 6” to clear thevalance.
