Remove the bolts that attach the radiatorcore support to the frame.Slide a floor jack under the front clip andcenter it on the drag link, this is the bestbalance point. Raise the jack so it hasslight pressure on the drag link to hold theframe up. Do not lift the car up off of thejack stands.Remove the rear frame mount bolts.#917701 Page 69
You need three people; one to operate thejack; one to steady the frame by holding onto the spindle through the wheel well; andthe third person will remove the frame boltsat the firewall.Remove the center frame mount bolts.
