It is evidentthat there is an increase in current in all the phases. Hence the occurrence of 3 phase fault isconfirmed. SYNCHROPHASORS - INITIATIVE IN INDIA JUNE 20125.1.2 Case Study-7: 1 phase fault on 400 kV Bassi-Heerapura-I on 2-Jan-2012Figure 50 shows voltage profile of 400kV Bassi substation during the transient fault in R phaseof the 400 kV Bassi-Heerapura –I. The voltage dip in R phase can be seen while the remainingY & B phase voltage is healthy. The voltage starts recovering after 80 ms which indicates thatthe single phase fault transient is in R phase of the circuit.
