In keeping with this idea, this panel will investig<strong>at</strong>e several questionsrel<strong>at</strong>ed to the transl<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong> historical fiction. How does a transl<strong>at</strong>or handle antiqu<strong>at</strong>edsyntax and style? Verisimilitude or historicity: who decides between the two, the author orthe transl<strong>at</strong>or?
