Engine Operating GuidelinesUsing a Booster Battery or ChargerA 12-volt booster battery can be connected in parallel withbattery (ies) on the unit to aid in cold weather starting.ALWAYS use heavy duty jumper cables.CAUTION: Gas given off by battery is explosive.Keep sparks and flames away from battery.Before connecting or disconnecting a batterycharger, turn charger off. Make last connectionand first disconnection at a point away frombattery.
