282PSI Spiesin the guild system, could be a way of educating a new generationof remote viewers, Buchanan said.Buchanan and his firm already have provided remoteviewing services to a variety of clients, including archaeologists, businessmen, corporate executives, police and investigativeagencies, and the government. An interestingexample of such work was a query to Buchanan from a moonexplorationcompany. They wanted to know the most costeffectiveway to build a base on the moon. Buchanan said:What we found was that a crater makes for alreadybuiltwalls. If you then stretch a plastic cover over it,you have a contained area. You only need to fill it with16 psi of air (that’s what Earth’s atmosphere is at sealevel), and any plastic sheeting will hold that much. If ameteorite hits it, it won’t break, but will only punch ahole. Go up and cover the hole with duct tape, and youhave a safe environment again. So, all it takes for astart-up moon base is a large roll of plastic and a bunchof duct tape. The customers were ecstatic over that, and more than likely, the first moon bases you see willconsist of only that.Buchanan and other former Psi Spies all wish that remoteviewing could gain respect and a professional status. The fact that virtually all of the Army’s Psi Spies have continuedto work with remote viewing in one way or another, atteststo the legitimacy and importance of the phenomenon.John Kovacs,at 43 years of age, represents a new generationof remote viewers, most trained by former Psi Spies.
