Excellentexposures of sedimentary features of the formationmay be observed directly on both sides of the spillway.The Drury Shale and Pounds Sandstone Members areexposed adjacent to Kinkaid Creek from the damsouthward to Big Muddy River. At most exposures, theCaseyviile is largely sandstone with some rnudstone andsiltstone. In this area, the Drury Shale Member consists
grained, thin to thick bedded, cross-bedded, ripplemarked, ferrurginous, and locally conglomeratic.rn) of the CaseyvilleFormation is exposed in the spillway (fig.
