As a rule of thumbassume the clearances will be from the edge of the equipmentbase. If these rule of thumb clearances cannot be achieved, contactthe Power Company.• No vegetation other than grass shall be present in the clearworkspace.• Trip hazards such as gutters, spigots, etc., shall not exist within theclear workspace.• Curbs may be acceptable in the clear workspace; contact thePower Company during site scoping.National codes require minimum clearances to oil-filled equipment. Transformerscontain a mineral oil.
