The Fantini GU 70/R modelhas been upgraded with a mobile unit,problems with hydraulic hoses havebeen eliminated, its dimensions andmobility allow cutting of larger widthsand lengths, rotation of the blade inseveral directions allows cutting of therear wall. After finished cutting, themachine automatically corrects the cutin order to avoid the risk of cutting intothe safety pillars. Diamond cutting elementsare used for cutting. Thegeometry of cuts consists of five horizontaland three vertical cuts. If comparedto the previous Fantini G.70 machine,the distribution of horizontal cutsis changed by adding another horizontalcut which increases the height of the undergroundterrain from 4.5 m to 5.2 mor more.
