At run time, RSView scansthe tag values in the tag database and compares them to the limits set for the tags. If a tagvalue crosses a limit, an alarm is triggered. For details about alarms, see Chapter 11,Creating alarms.When a tag has an alarm set up for it, an X appears in the Alm column of the Tags editor’sspreadsheet, and the Alarm button in the editor’s form is highlighted (enabled).9-11
