For example, a login macro might contain a command to bring up a specificgraphic display in an area of the plant. A logout macro might contain commands toredefine sensitive keys.In a distributed application, for a login or logout macro to run, it must be issued from thearea in which it is located. For example, if you specify a login macro located in theBottling area, when the user logs on to the RSView SE client, the macro will run only ifthe Bottling area is the client’s home area.For more information about logging on and off at run time, see page 15-30.
