While the Network Directory is unavailable, you cannot modify the structure ofapplications using that directory. For example, you cannot add areas, data servers, or HMIservers, to those applications. You also cannot create new user or computer accounts, orchange system security policies.How RSView SE Clients respond to server disruptionsUsers do not have to restart the RSView SE Client software to continue using the system,when FactoryTalk Directory becomes unavailable. However, clients that had neverconnected to the application before the failure, will not be able to connect until theNetwork Directory is restored.
