If thevalue of the tag fluctuates above and below its alarm threshold, alarms are triggered eachtime the tag value rises above the threshold value, or falls below the threshold value. Youcan enable or disable this feature.For more information about how this feature works, see “Thresholds” on page 11-3.Specifying how often the system checks for alarmsThe system does not check for alarms more frequently than the maximum update ratespecified in the Alarm Setup dialog box.
