Skip this section if you are installing on minidisk.Figure 9. SFS Directory RequirementsDirectoryowner(userid) Directory name Description5798DWDC VMSYS:5798DWDC.SOURCE Source directory. Contains RTM source files.5798DWDC VMSYS:5798DWDC.SAMPLE Sample Files.5798DWDC VMSYS:5798DWDC.DELTA Update directory. Contains all update files forthe product.5798DWDC VMSYS:5798DWDC.ALTAPPLY Auxfile directory. Contains the AUX files used duringa build of the product.5798DWDC VMSYS:5798DWDC.PRDAPPLY Staging directory. Used to save previous versionof AUX files.5798DWDC VMSYS:5798DWDC. Work directory. Used to temporarily storefiles created during build of product.5798DWDC VMSYS:5798DWDC.TBUILD Test disk. Used to store object filescreated during product build.RTMESA VMSYS:RTMESA. Server machines A directory. Used tostore the production version of RTM VM/ESA5.1.2.2.1 Filepool Space Requirements: The filepool space requirements in filepool VMSYS will be1500 4K blocks for user RTMESA and 11,500 blocks for user 5798DWDC.5.1.2.2.2 Additional Considerations: User 5798DWDC will need to copy files to the VMSYS:RTMESA.directory, ensure that this user has the proper authority to do so.5.1.3 Userid RequirementsRTM VM/ESA requires two userids. 5798DWDC is used for installation and service. This userid requiresaccess to CP maclibs: HCPOM1, HCPOM2, HCPPSI and HCPGPI. By default, these are located on theMAINT 190 and 193 disks. If this is not correct for your system, ensure that the disks that do containthese maclibs are accessible to user 5798DWDC. In addition, RTM VM/ESA requires access to theDMSGPI maclib and the H-assembler. By default, these files are located on the MAINT 190 and 19Edisks. Again, if this is does not reflect your system, ensure that the disks containing the DMSGPI macliband the H-assembler are accessible to user 5798DWDC. If you are installing RTM VM/ESA on VM/ESARelease 1.1, then you also need a link to MAINT 5E5 disk for the INSTFPP EXEC. RTMESA is theproduct server machine. It requires class E privilege because RTM accesses CP control block data areasduring execution.Note: Wherever the locations of your maclibs and H-assembler are, you must ensure that they are onminidisks or directories that are accessed when the product is built. For VMSES/E installations, this isInstallation Requirements and Considerations 9
