The faculty advisor willsupervise either the revision of the advisee’s philosophy of counseling paper inpreparation for the comprehensive examination, or the preparation and defense ofa thesis project. The faculty advisor will also serve as professional mentor withinthe program as appropriate and serve as liaison between faculty and student shouldany problems arise, academic or otherwise.130
