This period is one semester for all majors leading to themaster of arts degree.Subsequent to the incomplete period, extensions will carry a fee equal to twosemester credits of tuition and will extend the deadline by one semester. Masterof arts students may receive only one such extension on a master’s capstone. Thefull fee will be assessed for the final extension even if the student completes thecapstone or withdraws before the full semester has elapsed.The maximum total time to complete a master’s degree is five years including allenrolled semesters and extension semesters.Incompletes for the doctoral dissertation are handled differently. Beginning withand including the semester in which a student is registered for EDUC891: DissertationPhase Two, the student may use up to seven consecutive years (14 consecutivesemesters) to complete the dissertation.Grades of IP and NRThe grades IP and NR are generated for administrative use only.Grade of CRThe grade CR is used for course work and excluded from GPA calculations.32
