Since the three addressees at the Max Planck Society have still not answered the e-mail <strong>of</strong> 12th May, Ms. Lopez<br />
sends a reminder <strong>of</strong> her enquiry <strong>of</strong> 12th May as an e-mail to the same 3 addressees, and she repeats her question:<br />
“How has it been experimentally established that the speed <strong>of</strong> expansion <strong>of</strong> a beam <strong>of</strong> light is its relative speed<br />
for all moving observers?”<br />

Ms. Lopez reports the unsuccessful correspondence with the “scientific experts” (Max Planck Institute for<br />
Gravitational Physics / Albert Einstein Institute in Potsdam/Golm) named by Pr<strong>of</strong>. Richter as being responsible. -<br />
Extract:<br />
“Against this background I would be very grateful to you, dear Dr. Schavan, if as Federal Minister for<br />
Education and Research you could see to it that my technical question is answered, in keeping with your<br />
communication, by the named experts in the field <strong>of</strong> science, as regards the theory <strong>of</strong> relativity, in a definitive<br />
manner.<br />
You won’t want to tell me that, amongst the named experts, none <strong>of</strong> them is able to answer a simple question on<br />
the theory <strong>of</strong> relativity, or?<br />
And you won’t want to tell me that you, as Federal Minister for Education and Research, have no possibility <strong>of</strong><br />
requiring that an answer be given by these experts, or? Particularly since in the educational system - for the<br />
interests <strong>of</strong> which you bear responsibility - thousands <strong>of</strong> schoolbooks and hundreds <strong>of</strong> thousands <strong>of</strong> lessons have<br />
announced for decades, meanwhile, that the theory <strong>of</strong> relativity has been best and a thousandfold experimentally<br />
tested and confirmed. And particularly since in the Einstein Year <strong>of</strong> 2005 the federal government has spent 10<br />
