Livable Communities Grant: MARTA obtained a Livable Communities Grant from afederal agency to issue a Developer Request of Proposals to construct the Lindberghdevelopment. The winning submittal by Carter and Associates was one of two submittalsreceived in response to the RFP. Rezoning of site to <strong>TOD</strong> (1999): The site was rezoned to <strong>TOD</strong> in 1999, after a 14-monthprocess involving the Neighborhood Planning Unit, <strong>Zoning</strong> Review Board, and AtlantaCity Council.
