Before the year end, you will be notified of the service contracttermination options in writing. If the service contract has notbeen terminated four weeks before the year end, the existingcontract will be extended for one more year.OrderingAn order number is required for the software maintenance service.The software maintenance service can be ordered at the sametime as the software products or at a later date. If it is ordered ata later date, you must be in possession of at least one singlelicense.NoteYou are advised to take out the software maintenance servicecontract as early as possible. If a new version of a software productis released for delivery by Siemens, only customers registeredin a corresponding supply list at that time will receive theproduct automatically.Earlier software versions and the current software version are notcovered by the software maintenance service contract. A preconditionof every software maintenance contract is that the customeris in possession of the current version of the softwareproduct when the contract is taken out.DeliveryWhen you order a software maintenance service contract, youwill receive the contractual terms and conditions for this service.Payment is due at this point.
