1. To describe rationale and clinical indications for cardiac CT imaging in the emergency room.
2. To explain the CT protocol for the detection of coronary artery stenosis (including the rule out of
pulmonary embolism and aortic dissection).
3. To identify normal and pathologic fi ndings of the coronary arteries, myocardium and paracardial
structures.
4. To assess the diagnostic value of CT to rule out acute coronary syndrome.
