1. To learn MR imaging features of the pelvic fl oor supporting system (urethral, vaginal and anal spincter
complex) with their normal variants at static images.
2. To recognise and classify the types of defects in each compartment.
3. To understand how anatomical defects detected at static images can predict the type of functional
abnormality of the pelvic fl oor supporting elements at dynamic images.
4. To report MR fi ndings at static and dynamic images in an easy, systematic and comprehensive way.
