Coat Check
The coat check service is located on the lower level
and offered free of charge to ECR 2007 delegates.
Coffee / Snack Bars
Bright, welcoming and modern – these are the words
that best describe the recently completed renovation
and increase of recreational facilities, resulting in the
introduction of a mobile bar and a total of eight foyer
cafés throughout the whole congress venue and
across all levels of the building, setting new technical
and visual design standards.
The foyer cafés serve as communication and
meeting areas with a lounge-type atmosphere where
participants may regain their strength and energies.
Freshly brewed delicious Italian coffee, sweet and
sour snacks for every taste and hot dishes to suit
guests from a variety of cultural backgrounds are
offered.
Within the technical exhibition area, ECR has
additionally built its own cafés in Expo A, Extension
Expo A and Expo E.
Please refer to the ‘coffee-cup’ sign on the floor plans
on pages 34-40 of this programme to locate the
various foyer-cafés.
Confirmation of payment and attendance / CME
accreditation
Any congress-related confirmation will be available
during and after the congress at the ESR website
(myESR.org) in the MyPersonal area (login with
your last name and your PersonaliD as printed on
your badge). Internet access will be provided at
the registration terminals (from Sunday, March 11
onwards) as well as at the internet points.

To reach the ACV by public transport from the city
centre (Stephansplatz) take the U1 underground
line (red line – direction ‘Leopoldau’). Get off at
Vienna International Centre/Kaisermühlen and take
the exit marked Schüttaustraße. Travelling time:

ECR Cares
ECR 2007 will spoil delegates again with a number
of services: Free apples and free water bottles
will be distributed during breaks. In addition, shoe
shining services will be available on the entrance
level, and free massage will be offered on the lower
level within the relax area.
‘ECR Meets’ Sessions
The purpose of ‘ECR meets’ is to forge closer ties
between the invited countries and ECR. The host
nation is the country of the President: Austria. The
two guest nations of this year’s ECR are China and
the Czech Republic. There are dedicated sessions
for the radiological communities of these nations
to demonstrate the excellence of radiology in their
countries to congress attendees. Attendance places
will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

ECR Today
Upon popular demand the daily congress newspaper
ECR Today is back this year. It is published from
Friday to Monday and distributed in the entrance
hall of the congress venue as well as in 50 selected
hotels throughout Vienna.
EFOMP (European Federation of Organisations for
Medical Physics) Workshop
The 9 th EFOMP workshop at ECR will focus on stateof-the-art
instrumentation for molecular imaging
and molecular imaging applications (please refer to
page 112).
