Learning Objectives:
1. To understand the clinical role of an international classifi cation of breast lesions.
2. To know that the classifi cation was initially designed for mammography and recently extended to
ultrasonography and MRI.
3. To be able to accurately classify a representative panel of 10 cases.
4. To understand the clinical applications of the BI-RADS classifi cation with a special interest for BI-RADS 3
and 4.
