ECR Information from A – Z
The EAR General Assembly will be held on Monday,
March 12, from 16:00–18:00 in Room C. Each EAR
Member Society was invited to attend the meeting
with a delegation of up to three persons including
ideally the President and members of the Executive
Committee. Only pre-registered delegates are thus
allowed to participate. There will be a cocktail
reception afterwards with all delegates to the EAR
General Assembly from 18:00–18:45 in Foyer B.
‘Hands-on’ Workshops
The following ‘Hands-on’ Workshops are presented
at ECR 2007:
– Image Guided Breast Biopsy: How to do it
– Experience Vascular Procedures Using
Simulators
– Tips and Tricks in Radiofrequency Ablation
– Dancing with Workstations
The number of participants of each workshop is
restricted. Please refer to pages 123-128 for the
workshops’ programmes.
Hospital Manager Symposium
Do not miss out on the 4th edition of the Hospital
Manager Symposium to be held on Saturday, March
10, on hot topics related to ‘Management, IT
and finance for hospitals and radiologists’. The
symposium is presented and organised by ECR and
European Hospital.

Interactive Teaching Sessions
(E³ – European Excellence in Education)
The sessions on ‘Musculoskeletal lesions: Mistakes
you shouldn’t make’ and ‘BI-RADS – Training in
breast imaging’ are repeated from ECR 2006.
The following new topics will be introduced: ‘Traps
in imaging of cirrhosis and portal hypertension’,
‘Prostate cancer’, ‘Classifying breast lesions’, ‘The
imaging management of lung cancer’ and ‘How to do
a successful presentation: From abstract to slide
show’ (simultaneous translation from English to
Chinese for this session).
The material will be presented in an interactive way
with audience participation and self assessment by
use of an electronic voting system (key-pads).
Attendance places will be allocated on a first-come,
first-served basis. Please refer to pages 115 for the
programme of the sessions.
Internet Points
Computer terminals with internet connection are
available on the 1 st level and can be used for multiple
purposes. Delegates can compile their personal
session itineraries using the programme planner,
send emails and browse through the www.
