K-FLEX ® ELASTOMERIC FOAM TAPE TECHNICAL INFORMATIONContains a ProtectiveAntimicrobial AgentMade in USADESCRIPTIONK-FLEX ® Elastomeric Foam Tape is a convenientand easy-to-use product that complementsthe K-FLEX USA family of tubing andsheet insulation products. It is a speciallydesigned flexible, elastomeric insulationproduct. It is manufactured in 1/8" thicknessby 2" width by 30’ length, with pressuresensitive adhesive for applying to hot orcold pipes and fittings. The factory-appliedpressure sensitive acrylic adhesive adheresfirmly and forms a long-lasting bond, whilethe closed cell structure of the productprovides good thermal and low moisturepermeability properties.PHYSICAL PROPERTIESSkin SurfaceCompositionColorUSESK-FLEX ® Elastomeric Foam Tape is used toretard heat gain and prevent condensationor frost formation on cold water plumbing,chilled water, and refrigeration lines. No label requiredAPPLICATION INSTRUCTIONSK-FLEX ® Elastomeric Foam Tape may beapplied to all diameter pipes and tubes byspiral winding. Remove the release paper asthe tape is spiral-wrapped around the pipe.Avoid stretching. Edges may be butted oroverlapped. The seams are sealed with slighthand pressure. Surfaces to which K-FLEX ®Elastomeric Foam Tape is to be applied mustbe dry and clean.
