K-FLEX Clad ® WTNS is GREENGUARD ® certified as a low VOCmaterial, meeting the criteria for the “Childrenand Schools” and “Indoor Air Quality”classifications. It complies with Health,Safety and Environmental requirements.K-FLEX Clad ® WT NS tubing is also certifiedby NSF International for NSF/ANSI Standard169, “Special Purpose Food Equipment andDevices”.K-FLEX Clad ® WT NS is available in allstandard ID’s in 1/2”, 1”, 1-1/4” and1-1/2” wall thicknesses in 3-foot lengths.The PVC/Mylar ® film composite claddingprovides a secondary moisture vapor barrierto the inherently moisture-resistantclosed cell foam core and meets 25/50requirements for flame spread and smokedevelopment when tested according toASTM E84 standards.APPLICATIONSK-FLEX Clad ® WT NS is an ideal choice foroutdoor (roof top) and indoor applications,including supermarkets, food processingplants, pharmaceutical facilities, filmprocessing centers, electronics facilitiesand other clean room applications subjectto code compliance. The product is non-slitfor slide-on applications. By eliminating afield-applied longitudinal seam, it providesa superior moisture vapor barrior and morereliable performance. K-FIT ® factory-fabricatedfittings and K-FLEX Clad ® WT Coverscomplete the installation.The cladding provides weather and abuseresistance, as well as protection from UVrays. The smooth white surface is easy toclean, dust-free, resistant to acids, alkali,salts, oil, fats and aliphatic hydrocarbons,and is highly impermeable to gases andmoisture. Cladding does not dent liketraditional metal jackets, has excellentappearance and is easy to maintain.This composite product has a low thermalconductivity, a high water vapor diffusionresistance factor and greatly reducesthe problem of under insulation corrosion.Standard K-FLEX Clad ® WT NS can be usedin a temperature range of -297°F to +220°F.INSTALLATIONThe non-slit, slide-on feature saves timeclosing seams and increases the reliabilityof the vapor barrier. K-FLEX Clad ® WT NS islight and easy to handle.
