It is a good idea to set the report to overlap 20 minutes or 75 minswith the previous reports.Avoid Large QueriesIf possible, avoid running large queries. e.g. where the delta date is greater than 1 day during working hours. If a large query needsto be run, for data recovery purposes for example, then it is advised that these are executed as jobs outside regular working hours.There is a timeout of 35 minutes and therefore if the report takes longer than this time to build it will not be returned.AdaptationThe template PERL script which BT will provide offers a working example which can be used by the SP for an <strong>XML</strong> return from theActuate reports. The script itself can be amended to fit in more neatly with the user’s own business processes.
