Well hello there! Welcome back to my Bounce monthly column… Ok so
firstly a reminder about me. I’m Zena (Zee for short) I’m 42, a mother and a
grandmother.
So, autumn is officially here and
the winter coats are out! I love this
season as it gives me a chance
to layer up and experiment with
colour. Tights especially, and the
odd roll neck can transform your
summer dresses into autumn
staples. Of course winter boots are
always a satisfying purchase.

she likes to colour match
beautiful genuine vintage bags
with accessories. My favourites
are the green clip ons (see right
hand page) and of course my
beautiful Kelly bag.
I have some beautiful navy blue
suede boots by Lisa Kay that my
husband bought from me from
a now closed shoe boutique in
town, and I recently purchased
some (genuine pleather I’ll have
you know) black over the knee
boots. They are fabulous.
This month, my husband and
I celebrate our first wedding
anniversary. His gift to me was the
most beautiful vintage handbag from
I’ve also taken inspiration
from the one and only Mary
Quant and paid a visit to my
hairdresser Zoe at Toni and Guy
in Bury St Edmunds.
She has a real eye for detail
and seems to magically make
my hair do what I ask her to!
No mean feet when I’m always
dying it purple or bleaching to
within an inch of its life!
