‘Girl from mars’ it’s fun and its just had its 20th
anniversary, we’ve played it at every single show,
but just recently we close with ‘Burn Baby Burn’ I
really enjoy that! We’ve never been a band that’s
shied away from the hits; we love the energy from
the crowd.
Q: Your UK tour starts in December with
eleven dates in the UK and Ireland, what
are you looking forward to the most?
Just before that tour we’re doing a few weeks
in Europe with ‘We are Scientists’ so a couple of
weeks on a bus with them will be fun, it will be a
good way to get us warmed up.
Q: Do you ever get bored of being ‘on
the road’?
I wouldn’t say bored by you do miss your home
life, especially having kids. Your main focus is on
the gigs, which perhaps in the early days wasn’t
the main focus!
Q: We are very excited about your
upcoming show in Norwich on 12th
December. Have you ever played in East
Anglia before?
Yeah we’ve had some great shows in Norwich
over the years, we have the students there, its
usually a young excited audience.
Q: What can we look forward to?
We will be playing the new album, which fits into
the set with the old hits really well, creating a nice
balance.
Q: After the tour has finished what
comes next?
We’ve got a bunch of stuff left from the
Kablammo sessions, perhaps an EP we need
to figure that out. We need to get in the studio
maybe early next year to get some new material.
We’re hoping to continue touring.
