A peaceful home creates a relaxing
atmosphere in which families and
loved ones can thrive.
As November is a quiet month, why not
invest some time in de-cluttering your home
and creating a calm haven before the rush of
December’s festivities.
Very soon your house will be filled sparkle
and tinsel, there may be excited children or
grandchildren dashing underfoot so do what you
can whilst they are still at school.
Then, when the term comes to an end you can
make the most of them being at home with you.
Start by taking inventory. Move from room to
room listing objects into things that will stay and
dividing those that can go into - rubbish, things
to sell and things to give away.
Choose which room most needs your attention,
set some time aside and then put your plan into
action. Deliver unwanted items to their final
destination whilst momentum is high.
If you cannot decide what to do with an item, ask
yourself – do I need it? Is it useful? Do I like it?
Sometimes we hold onto old things because we
think we should, but it is OK to let things go.
By clearing a small area each day, you can quickly
make a big change to the atmosphere in your
home.
Life is not meant to be stressful, the purpose of
life is to be happy. Putting some effort in now
means that during December you will have time
