7. New Testament Trinity
Eph 5.18-20: Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to
debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one
another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make
music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the
Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I Thess 1.1 (also 2 Thess 1.1): To the church of the
Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
I Thess 1.3-5: We continually remember before our God and
Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by
love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus
Christ. For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen
you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but
also with power, with the Holy Spirit
I Thess 3.11: Now may our God and Father himself and our
Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you.
2 Thess 2.16-17: May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God
our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal
encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and
strengthen you in every good deed and word.
Ephesians 2.18: For through him we both have access to the
Father by one Spirit.
I John 1.3: And our fellowship is with the Father and with his
Son, Jesus Christ.
I John 2.22-23: Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that
Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist -- he denies the
Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the
Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
I John 4.13-14: We know that we live in him and he in us,
because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and
testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the
world.
