8. God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit

Jesus identified Himself as the Son of God:
John 9:35-37 ;"Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and
when He had found him, He said to him, 'Do you believe in the
Son of God?' He answered and said, 'Who is He, Lord, that I
may believe in Him?' And Jesus said to him, 'You have both
seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.'" (
John 10:36 "...do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and
sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am
the Son of God'?"
Matthew 27:43"He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He
will have Him; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.'"
John 11:4"When Jesus heard that, He said, 'This sickness is not
unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be
glorified through it.'"
The Apostles confessed Jesus Christ as "the Son of God":
John 20:31 "...but these are written that you may believe that
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may
have life in His name."
Acts 8:37 "Then Philip said, 'If you believe with all your heart,
you may.' And he answered and said, 'I believe that Jesus
Christ is the Son of God.'"
Acts 9:20 "Immediately he preached the Christ in the
synagogues, that He is the Son of God."
In the New Testament, Jews are described as rejecting Jesus'
apparent claims to divinity, accusing him of blasphemy.
