8. God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit leads people to faith in Jesus and gives them the
ability to lead a Christian life. The Holy Spirit dwells inside every
Christian, each one's body being his temple
1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are the temple of
God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
The Holy Spirit is depicted as a 'Counselor' or 'Helper'
(paracletus), "Advocate"
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My
name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your
remembrance all things that I said to you" (John 14:26).
The Holy Spirit transforms the believer to produce the Fruit of
the Holy Spirit. A list of "spiritual gifts" include prophecy,
tongues, healing, knowledge, giving, leadership, mercy etc.
