7. New Testament Trinity
Col 1.15-20: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn
over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in
heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or
powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him
and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold
together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the
beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in
everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased
to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to
reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things
in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the
cross.
Tit 3.4-7: But when the kindness and love of God our Savior
appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had
done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the
washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he
poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,
so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become
heirs having the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying.
Eph 4.4-6: There is one body and one Spirit -- just as you were
called to one hope when you were called -- one Lord, one faith,
one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and
through all and in all.
2 Thess 2.13-14: But we ought always to thank God for you,
brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God
chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the
Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this
through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord
Jesus Christ.
