Airport hotelier Sama-Sama Group is proud to<br />

announce that the Sama-Sama Express KLIA & klia2<br />

hotels received the 'Service Excellence Award 2015'<br />

by Booking.com for providing outstanding guest<br />

experience, recently.<br />

The online accommodation booking website's award<br />

is based on reviews from guests. Sama-Sama Express<br />

klia2 received an 8.6 rating while Express KLIA received<br />

an 8.1 rating with Sama-Sama's KLIA airport hotel<br />

receiving a 9.0 rating for the year 2015.<br />

Booking.com said, "We believe that honest reviews are<br />

the best way for our guests to share their experiences<br />

with other travellers — and for our partners to show<br />

what makes them unique. Now it’s time to celebrate<br />

the properties with the world’s best review scores."<br />

The website also said, "Our awards were presented to<br />

properties with an average review score of 8 or more.<br />

We only included properties with at least ten reviews, to<br />

ensure that our winners had been consistently excellent.<br />

This means that each and every award reflects a long<br />

line of satisfied guests and outstanding stays."<br />

team leader bags award<br />

The hotel's Degrees restaurant team leader, Hamizan Mohamad<br />

Uzin was awarded the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH)<br />

Employee Awards <strong>2016</strong>, making him the Selangor state champion.<br />

Hamizan received the award from Tourism and Culture Minister,<br />

Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz at the MAH Gala<br />

Dinner and Hotel Employees Awards held at Hotel Istana on<br />

25 May <strong>2016</strong>.<br />

At the event, Mohamed Nazri said the success of the tourism<br />

industry was a collective effort that relied heavily on the<br />

government's investment, his ministry and relevant stakeholders.<br />

He added that the synergy between all the stakeholders would<br />

help fulfill Malaysia's 2020 target of 36 million tourist arrivals<br />

and raking in RM168 billion worth of tourist receipts.<br />

MAH President, Sam Cheah said the awards were a good<br />

way of acknowledging and rewarding role models in the<br />

industry which would set a benchmark for their peers to<br />

provide quality services.<br />

Over 800 guests including 200 General Managers from hotels<br />

nationwide were present during the event.<br />
