RIZALMAN FOR ZALORA 2016
Asia’s online fashion destination Zalora unveiled its newest
collaboration with renowned designer Rizalman Ibrahim,
with a collection that celebrates his design, sensibility and
influence over the years.

zalora.sg and www.zalora.id and offers fashionistas across
Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei the chance to own
Rizalman’s latest collection.
The new Rizalman for Zalora collection showcases familiar
designs from the designer’s archives as pieces are given a
modern remix with updated fabric, patterns and prints making
it instant classics yet highly relevant for the day.
A CELEBRATION OF GREAT STYLE
Rizalman’s signature form-fitting cuts and elegant ‘baju
kurungs’ take centre stage in this collection, as the designer
presents new and fresh ideas to traditional dressing for the
festive season and every day wear. Embellishments are kept
minimal, as Rizalman focuses on the use of beautiful and
innovative fabrics to elevate the charm of each piece. Jersey,
lace, crepe silk and georgette silk are used generously in
addition to laces and metallic elements that create an oldworld
sophistication.
Pieces bearing the ‘mega mendung’, an original print
introduced by Rizalman in 2005, make a stunning appearance
on key pieces. Other specially-made patterns and prints on
a variety of fabrics break the monotony of the collection,
perfect for fans of colour and fun.
RizalMEN, the designer’s first menswear collection,
comprises classic cuts with a modern twist; pieces in the
collection can be worn freely at festive occasions or part of
one’s everyday wardrobe. 'Jubah', ‘baju melayu’, kaftans,
shirts and t-shirts, sweaters and jumpers in a variety of
colours and prints make up the strong collection that is
