ERAMAN
BOUNCES BACK
Malaysia Airports Niaga improves its sales
performance for the first quarter of 2016
ERAMAN
General Manager,
Zulhikam Ahmad
Malaysia Airports (Niaga) Sdn Bhd or better
known as ERAMAN is back in business with
a gusto proving an increase in sales of up
to 15 percent for the first quarter of 2016.
ERAMAN General Manager, Zulhikam
Ahmad who has been with the company for
over a year said, “ERAMAN being the largest
duty free retailer in Malaysia has seen
significant ups and downs this past year."
“I am very pleased to note that this year
however, we have seen a tremendous yearon-year
increase in our sales for the first
quarter of 2016."
Zulhikam added that although the company
showed positive results, further improvements
would need to take place in order for
ERAMAN to grow its presence in leading
airports in Malaysia and regionally. While the
company continues to diversify its offerings
with focus on its duty free businesses and
food and beverage in airports throughout
the country, it needs to also embrace the
many new exciting possibilities and that the
journey should not stop here.
“We must remember that travel retail will
face many implications and challenges
ahead. With a strong growth in passenger
movement this year and the launch of a
year-long campaign to reward our loyal
customers called “Eraman Sales
Extravaganza”, I am confident that
ERAMAN will flourish even further and that
our sales can achieve a double digit growth
by year-end based on sales figures.
“It is crucial to move forward with continued
vigour and cohesiveness as a formidable
company and team, following the many
measures that have been put in place in
order to evolve.”
