To check that a listener has been created and started, you can use the <br />

have not created a database yet, <strong>Oracle</strong> reports that the listener supports no services; this<br />

Creating and Configuring a <strong>Database</strong><br />

DBCA streamlines the process of creating and configuring a database and ensures that<br />

no steps are forgotten. The use of database templates speeds up and standardizes the<br />

database creation process. Of course, creating and configuring a database necessarily<br />

requires that we create and configure an instance <strong>to</strong> handle the work. The entire process<br />
