You can incorporate the query in Listing 10-6 into a batch report with the SQL*Plus
command- line tool, or you can execute it interactively with SQL Developer. Alternatively,
as illustrated in Figure 10-1, Enterprise Manager offers a visual representation of space
usage.

Table sizes can be monitored using the view. The query in Listing 10-7
displays table sizes in megabytes; it uses the function to limit the list to the ten biggest
tables.
