Summary<br />

The database administra<strong>to</strong>r needs <strong>to</strong> understand SQL in all its forms. Many <strong>Oracle</strong> experts<br />

have devoted their entire careers <strong>to</strong> the study of SQL, and I have hardly been able <strong>to</strong><br />

scratch the surface in this chapter. I highly recommend the books listed at the end of this<br />

chapter and, of course, the official <strong>Oracle</strong> reference works can always be downloaded from<br />
