The statement should typically specify a value for —
the tablespace where the user’s tables and indexes are automatically placed if another
tablespace is not explicitly specified—and —the tablespace used for
sorting operations and other operations that require temporary space. However, if you
do not specify values, and are automatically set
to the values listed in the view. In this example, we also neglected to
assign a value to the user’s profile; this is automatically set to the value . Listing 8-7
shows some information from the view; note especially the attributes of user
Listing 8-7 is interesting also because it shows us just how many schemas are automatically
origin of these schemas; the creation date of August 30, 2005 tells me that those schemas
were part of the database template that I used to create my database. The creation date of
February 21, 2008 is the date when I installed the sample schemas in the database, soon
after creating the database.
