COURSE: LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN PUBLIC SERVICES
Studying Public Services offers
you wider knowledge of the whole
sector. You learn about all services
including police, immigration and
border control. There are both
theoretical and practical units such
as team sports, physical preparation,
fitness testing and fire training.
The team building activities at
the beginning of the course really
brought the class together quickly
and we’re a very close knit group.
This is an important skill
for Public Services as you never
work alone, always in teams of two
or more. I’ve just got back from
Washington DC where I took part
in National Policing Week. Seeing
how the police work on such a large
scale event was really exciting and
overwhelming. It was the first time
I’d even been on a plane. The whole
experience definitely reinforced
my ambition.
